Student Exchange Program – Information about the Linguistic Centre of “Tor Vergata” (CLA)

The Erasmus students enrolled at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” can take language courses managed by the CLA.

The CLA provides courses for the following languages: Chinese, French, English, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and German.

In order to take the language exam (language proficiency):

If included within the plan of study (learning agreement):

It is necessary to book the exam through DELPHI

If not included within the plan of study (learning agreement):

It is necessary to book the exam through FORM

It is possible to take the exam at the end of the course and get it registered within the student career (verbalizzazione su Delphi).

In case the student comes for a 6-months’ Erasmus experience, he/she will not be able to recognize the credits (ECTS) of an exam if the course is annual (October – May); however, it is possible to receive a statement of language level.

The exams take place during the ordinary sessions*:

  • Summer session: calls of June/July
  • Autumn session: call of September
  • Winter session: calls of January/ February

Below are the deadlines to be meet in order to book the exam:

To book the exam through DELPHI the deadline to be met is outlined on the exam calendar (approx. 7 days before the exam date), available on the CLA website To book through the form FORM the deadline to be met is outlined on the CLA website in the exam section (approx. 10 days before the exam date)

Once the language proficiency exam has been passed, it is necessary to request a statement of language level.
